The Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry has recognized State Representative Peggy McGaugh of Carroll\/Livingston\/Linn and Ray Counties as a 2024 Business Champion. This recognition is given to state lawmakers who supported policies during the 2024 legislative session to grow our economy and make Missouri a more competitive place to do business.<\/p>\n
The Business Champions list was created after an analysis of key votes on important business issues. To be included, state legislators needed to have at least a 70% record of siding with the Missouri Chamber on priority issues. This year, 24 members of the Missouri Senate and 103 members of the Missouri House of Representatives met that criteria.<\/p>\n
