The Chamber maintains a 12-member board of directors elected by the general membership. These, along with the executive director, are responsible for the Chamber’s operation. Each member elected to the board serves a three-year term. The Board of Directors meets the third Thursday of each month.

Chamber Mission Statement

The Richmond Area Chamber of Commerce mission is to serve its members by focusing on business, tourism, member education, and economic stability.  It is the visionary leader of the Richmond area unified to promote commerce and community development in Richmond and the surrounding area.

The Richmond Area Chamber of Commerce will be the leading voice of business and economic development in the Richmond, Missouri area.  Our objectives include:  to help our members grow and succeed through our programs and partnerships; to consistently work to overcome barriers to future economic development; to promote a healthy and positive business climate to encourage economic development; to enhance overall quality of life and standard of living; to promote the educational, historic, and cultural resources of Richmond and the surrounding region.
